- Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Tsinghua University. The led research group has published over 100 papers across conferences such as ACL, ICLR, ICML, Neurips, and won numerous awards including COLING 2010 best paper, ACL 2012 best student paper, etc.

- General interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, and natural language processing. Particularly interested in natural language generation theories, models & evaluation; fundamental problems in large language models and multi-modal foundation models; AI alignment, safety, and ethics; social intelligence with large language models (emotion, theory-of-mind, mental health applications). Leading a research group named Conversational AI (CoAI).
