His doctoral thesis was awarded an ACM SIGecom Doctoral Dissertation Award (Honorable Mention) and an IFAAMAS Victor Lesser Dissertation Award (Honorable Mention). Served as a program committee member or reviewer for multiple international conferences and journals such as AAAI, AAMAS, COLT, EC, ICALP, ICLR, ICML, IJCAI, NeurIPS, etc.
Research Experience
Currently a Research Scientist in the Market Algorithms Group at Google Research. Mentored several interns and student researchers, including those from Cornell, USC, Yale, MIT, and Duke/CMU.
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University, advised by Vincent Conitzer. During his Ph.D. at Duke, he also worked closely with Debmalya Panigrahi and Rong Ge, and was supported by a Google Ph.D. Fellowship and a James B. Duke Fellowship. He received his bachelor's degree from Yao Class at Tsinghua University, where he was a member of the Computational Economics Group led by Pingzhong Tang.
