Academic Achievements
His team was the first to explore certain single defects in wide bandgap semiconductors.
Research Experience
Worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on nanofabrication of optical cavities out of diamond, SiC, and GaN, and conducting nanophotonic experiments; has led the quantum nanophotonics laboratory at UTS since 2013.
Education
Received B.Sc (2005) and M.Sc (2007) in Materials Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, supervised by Prof Yeshayahu Lifshitz; pursued PhD studies at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Prof Steven Prawer until around 2011.
Background
Research interests include quantum materials and nanophotonics. Focuses on exploring single defects in wide bandgap semiconductors for quantum technologies.
