Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • His team was the first to explore certain single defects in wide bandgap semiconductors.
Research Experience
  • Worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on nanofabrication of optical cavities out of diamond, SiC, and GaN, and conducting nanophotonic experiments; has led the quantum nanophotonics laboratory at UTS since 2013.
Education
  • Received B.Sc (2005) and M.Sc (2007) in Materials Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, supervised by Prof Yeshayahu Lifshitz; pursued PhD studies at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Prof Steven Prawer until around 2011.
Background
  • Research interests include quantum materials and nanophotonics. Focuses on exploring single defects in wide bandgap semiconductors for quantum technologies.
