Research Experience
- Worked in the Program and Systems Engineering Department (PSE) of Siemens AG Österreich from 1992 to 2005. Since July 2005, has been a professor in the Databases and Artificial Intelligence Group (DBAI) at TU Wien.
Education
- Received a master's degree in Mathematics (Mag.rer.nat.) from the University of Innsbruck in 1991; another master's degree in Mathematical Computation (MSc) from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1992; and a PhD in Computer Science (Dr.techn.) from TU Wien in 2000. Obtained habilitation in Theoretical Computer Science in 2001.
