Research Experience
Before starting his PhD, he was a Machine Learning researcher at Inductiva Research Labs, working on physics-informed neural networks for heat diffusion and coastal dynamics.
Education
PhD student at LTS4, EPFL (Switzerland), under the supervision of Pascal Frossard and Dorina Thanou; BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, with his MSc thesis advised by Renato Negrinho, Pedro Aguiar, and João Xavier; Visiting student at Tsinghua University.
Background
Research interests span generative modeling, graph deep learning, and their applications in scientific discovery. Currently an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon.
Miscellany
In his spare time, he is really into sports, especially football. He also enjoys reading books and watching movies.
