- Full professor in the Department of Data Analysis at Ghent University (Belgium). With a background as a statistical physicist, I investigate the dynamics and structure of complex systems. My research with collaborators ranges from theoretical and computational physics to methodological and computational aspects of neuroscience and experimental neurophysiology, sometimes extending to other fields where a complex system approach might be helpful.
