Academic Achievements
Recipient of the Nanoarch 2012 Best Paper Award, the Newcas 2013 Best Paper Award, 2022 ICMTS Best Paper Award, 2022 VLSI-SoC Best Paper Award, and the 2017 IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award. He has served as a TPC member for many conferences and is a reviewer for several journals and funding agencies. Currently, he is an Associate Editor in the Frontiers in Neuroscience section on Neuromorphic Engineering.
Research Experience
He is a full professor at Aix-Marseille University (Polytech Marseille microelectronic and telecommunication department) and a permanent researcher at the Institut Materials Microelectronic and Nanoscience of Provence (IM2NP), where he serves as the deputy director of the institute. Prior to joining Aix-Marseille University, he was a research associate at Montpellier University, France.
Education
He holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science (1996) and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, both from Montpellier University, France (1999).
Background
Research interests include non-volatile memory (NVM), Flash, Floating gate, Resistive RAM, OxRAM, PCM, STT-MRAM, in-memory computing, memory security, and neuromorphic accelerators based on emerging non-volatile memories.
