Research Experience
Currently mainly working on designing the Quantum Internet architecture for Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, and sometimes for the R&D division of Mercari, Inc. Founded and directs the Quantum Internet Task Force, an R&D consortium to realize the Quantum Internet. Also serves as a board member of the WIDE project and as the Project Manager underneath the Project Manager for the JST Moonshot Nagayama Project, which demonstrates integrated quantum networks aimed at distributed quantum computing within the JST Moonshot R&D Program Goal 6 – a large-scale national project aiming for Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing in Japan. Worked from system level to governance level, including standardization work in IETF.
