  • Currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University, directing a Machine Learning Lab. Previously, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT's Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Lab, working with Prof. Dina Katabi and Prof. Tommi Jaakkola.

  • Ph.D. from the CSE department at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, supervised by Prof. Dit-Yan Yeung; B.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, supervised by Prof. Wu-Jun Li. Visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University's Machine Learning department, working with Prof. Eric Xing.
Background
  • Research interest focuses on statistical machine learning, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs). Currently, mainly works on Bayesian deep learning, probabilistic methods, game-theoretic approaches, and their applications in trustworthy & safe AI (interpretability, robustness, alignment, etc.), healthcare, recommender systems, computer vision (including multimodal LLMs), natural language processing (including LLMs), network analysis, and data mining.
