Academic Achievements
- Co-authored more than 70 top journal and conference papers; has over 16,000 Google Scholar citations, including SiamRPN (3,400+ citations), DaSiamRPN (1,800+ citations), and BEVDet (900+ citations). DaSiamRPN is included in the famous OpenCV Library. Recognized as one of the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). Won the Best Student Paper Award and CCF Outstanding Paper Award in PRCV 2025 (CCF-C Conference). Ranked 1st on NIST-FRVT Masked Face Recognition, won the COCO Keypoint Detection Challenge in ECCV 2020 and Visual Object Tracking (VOT) Real-Time Challenge in ECCV 2018.
Research Experience
- Was a research intern at SenseTime, Horizon Robotics, and DeepGlint during 2016-2019.
Education
- Received Ph.D. degree from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019. Was a post-doc fellow at Tsinghua University during 2019-2021.
Background
- Research interests include computer vision and robotics problems such as world model, AIGC, autonomous driving, face recognition, and visual tracking. Currently, the Co-founder and Chief Scientist at GigaAI.
