Academic Achievements
Received the U.S. Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), NSF CAREER Award, Ontario Premier’s Research Excellence Award, IBM Faculty Award, Bell Canada Chair in Information Systems, and is a Fellow of the ACM. Received the 10-Year ICDT Test-of-Time Award with co-authors (Fagin, Kolaitis, and Popa) for their influential 2003 paper.
