A paper accepted in ICLR 2024 with Spotlight presentation (Top 5%), introducing Neuron Activation Coverage (NAC) for both OOD detection and generalization problems.

- Received a Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong in 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Shiqi Wang; Visiting scholar at The University of Tokyo from Mar. 2024 to Sep. 2024, supervised by Prof. Lei Ma; B.E. degree with first-class honors from School of Computer Science, Shandong University in 2020.
Background
- Research Interests: Efficient long-context LLM inference and Trustworthy machine learning. Enthusiastic about understanding the internal workings of machine learning algorithms and designing tools to make them efficient, explainable, and robust.
Miscellany
- Loves backpacking and adventuring. In 2024, embarked on his first backpacking journey, traveling across Japan in two months – from Okinawa to Hokkaido. In 2025, continued his travels through Egypt and Turkey, meeting incredible people from different countries and walks of life, which lifted his spirits and helped him discover more about himself.
