Assistant Professor in the Computer and Information Science department at Fordham University. Obtained a PhD from the Computer Science department at Stony Brook University, supervised by Professor Steven Skiena. As a graduate research assistant at the Institute of Advanced Computational Science, involved in leading multiple collaborative research works in Bioinformatics and Social Science. During an internship at Amazon AWS AI Algorithms group, developed deep learning-based anomaly detection algorithms. Currently leads a small research group at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, focusing on Bengali Natural Language Processing.
