In July 2021, the paper 'Interacting Two-hand 3D Pose and Shape Reconstruction from Single Color Image' was accepted by ICCV 2021; In October 2020, the paper 'Weakly-supervised Learning for Single Depth based Hand Shape Recovery' was accepted by TIP; Received the K.C.Wong post-doctoral fellowship award in 2009.
Research Experience
Currently a Professor at Beijing Key Laboratory of Human-computer Interactions, Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Was a postdoctoral research fellow at Institute of Computing Technology, CAS. Also worked as a research fellow at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2012 to 2013.
Education
Obtained his Ph.D. degree from National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), Institute of Automation, CAS in 2008.
Background
Main research topics are in computer vision, specifically related to capturing and synthesizing high-quality 3D/2D human gestures, designing gesture-based user interface, and understanding 3D/2D scene.
