Academic Achievements
  • A patent holder with numerous peer-reviewed journal and conference publications, including best demonstration and best student paper awards. Served as a program committee member for conferences such as ECML-PKDD, CIKM, CISSS, SOCA, ICSOC. Regularly acts as a reviewer and monitor for projects under the Horizon Europe (and, earlier, Horizon 2020) research framework, and coordinates research projects herself. Received several research grants from funding agencies like EIT Manufacturing, EIT Climate, AMS.

  • Worked as a research engineer at Airbus, Newport (UK), and as the Lead AI engineer at Cupenya, Amsterdam, where she led the AI department. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam, and a member of the Intelligent Data Engineering Lab, Complex-Cyber Infrastructures group, and the Data Science Centre.
