Organized multiple international conferences, such as Program Co-Chair for CHES 2022, General Chair for CARDIS 2021, etc.; served on program committees for various international conferences including EuroS&P, CHES, ACM CCS, USENIX Security, etc.; published numerous academic papers.
Research Experience
Spent two years at the Center for Cryptology and Information Security (CCIS) at Florida Atlantic University starting in 2010; joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at WPI in 2012; has been the Director of the Institute of IT Security at the University of Lübeck since August 2017; will be the head of the STEM sections (the non-medical departments) of University of Lübeck from October 2024.
Education
Received his Ph.D. in ECE from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany, and was a member of the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI).
