Research Experience
Currently a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind and an Honorary Fellow at University College London at Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging
Education
PhD from Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, University College London, supervised by Maneesh Sahani and Peter Dayan; Undergraduate and Master's thesis supervised by Máté Lengyel at the University of Cambridge
Background
Research interests span machine learning and theoretical neuroscience, focusing on exploring and proposing unsupervised and reinforcement learning algorithms, understanding the learned representation by agents, and taking inspiration from biological solutions. The ultimate goal is to understand principles of intelligence in artificial and biological agents.
