Education
  • Joined the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen as an assistant professor in September 2021. Previously, obtained a Ph.D. in computer science from Arizona State University, advised by Professor Baoxin Li.
Background
  • Research interests cover several aspects of machine learning and discrete optimization, particularly focusing on the theory and applications of machine learning for combinatorial problems on graphs, and seeking its interpretation under the deep learning framework. Currently also interested in applying machine learning to solve traditional problems in science, especially in chemistry and material areas.
