Research Experience
Currently working on deep reinforcement learning at Oxford, focusing on improving the understanding of when and why training fails and how to make current algorithms more robust, particularly in offline RL. She has also worked on causal representation learning with Prof. José Miguel Hernández-Lobato at the Cambridge Machine Learning Group (MLG).
Education
Pursuing a PhD at the University of Oxford, Department of Statistics, supervised by Prof. Yee Whye Teh; previously completed an integrated Masters in Computer and Information Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where her dissertation on language models for automatic speech recognition was supervised by Prof. Phil Woodland.
Background
A Machine Learning PhD student interested in deep reinforcement learning, using meta-learning to discover reinforcement learning algorithms, probabilistic machine learning, and understanding optimization dynamics in training deep models.
