Was a visiting researcher at the Statistical and Relational Artificial Intelligence (StarAI) Lab, UCLA, supervised by Professor Guy Van den Broeck; studied nonlinear differential equation problems and traffic signal optimizations at ZJU; worked as a quantitative strategy researcher at Zhejiang QuantDo Investment Management Co., Ltd.
Education
PhD student: Department of Computer Science, University of Texas at Austin, supervised by Professor Nhat Ho; Master's degree: Computational Mathematics, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Bachelor's degree: Mathematics, Zhejiang University, where she was a member of the State Key Laboratory of Scientific and Engineering Computing working on theories and algorithms for adaptive finite element methods, first principles electronic structure calculations, and generalized eigenvalue problems.
Background
Research interests lie broadly in artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly in the mathematical theory and optimization related to machine learning and probabilistic inference, as well as applications of partial differential equations and eigenvalue problems. Currently focused on exploring the intricacies of the mixture of experts model.
