Published multiple research papers on machine learning, model interpretation, and benchmarking, and contributed to the development of several software projects such as mlr, mlr3, OpenML, and iml.
Research Experience
Since March 2019, he has been supporting the chair within the framework of the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML) as an education manager of the Data Science Certificate Program and as a PostDoc leading the interpretable machine learning research group. Additionally, he is part-time CEO of a LMU spin-off education company called Essential Data Science Training GmbH.

Completed his PhD at the Working Group Computational Statistics in early 2019, focusing on benchmark experiments, evaluation of machine learning models, and the emerging field of interpretable machine learning.
