Academic Achievements
Published multiple papers in top-tier journals such as Nature Materials, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Journal of the American Chemical Society.
Research Experience
Leads the Dou Laboratory, focusing on developing tailor-made molecular networks and functional electrical materials. The lab includes postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
Education
Started independent academic career as an Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University in September 2021.
Background
Research interests include new materials, energy applications, and new physics. Focused on exotic physical properties of electronically coupled two-dimensional Metal-Organic Frameworks, novel supercapacitor electrodes based on porous, electrically conductive materials and high-voltage electrolytes, and low-dimensional hybrids of Metal-Organic Frameworks coupled with carbon nanomaterials.
Miscellany
The laboratory welcomes new students and researchers to join and celebrates important events like the Lunar New Year.
