Academic Achievements
  • In 2022, received Kogakukai Student Award (2nd place in department) and Kyushu University Student Award (one in engineering faculty). In 2023, awarded General Representative & Kogakukai Student Award (1st place in department) and Kyushu University Student Award (one in engineering and one in system information).
Research Experience
  • Established the Arakawa Laboratory (HumanoPhilic Systems Lab.) at Kyushu University in April 2019. Since 2020, collaborated with Mine's laboratory to form the Applied Human Information Systems Research Group, promoting research on comprehensive information systems including data analysis and NLP. In 2022, Associate Professor Fukushima joined to strengthen the field of HCI.
Background
  • Research interests include human behavior recognition using sensors (IoT) and machine learning (AI), focusing on the development of new sensors to application implementation for building human-friendly systems. Also interested in recognizing internal states such as emotions and stress.
