Research Experience
Has been an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and adjunct professor at the Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI at KAIST since August 2023; was a postdoctoral research fellow at Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University, from March 2022 to June 2023, working with Prof. Leman Akoglu and Prof. Christos Faloutsos.
Education
Received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University between March 2016 and February 2022, under the supervision of Prof. U Kang; also received a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university between March 2012 and February 2016.
Background
Research interests cover various topics in data mining and machine learning, including graph neural networks, time series analysis, recommender systems, and anomaly detection.
