  • From 1995 to February 2006, he was a researcher at CoreCom (research consortium supported by Pirelli and PoliMi in Milan, Italy), where he became the Head of the Optical Networking Laboratory; joined the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) at PoliMi as an Assistant Professor in March 2006; became an Associate Professor in January 2015; participated in several international collaborative projects, including MUPBED, NOBEL2, e-Photon/ONe+, BONE, STRONGEST, MobileCloud; led multiple industrial contracts and research projects.

  • Received a Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in 1995; obtained a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the same university in 2000.
