Lab members received an outstanding paper award at Korea Software Congress 2020 (KSC2020); one paper was awarded the best paper at the 25th ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology.
Research Experience
Applying the research outcomes to various application areas including medical training/assisting system, sensorimotor skill transfer, virtual reality gaming, and education.
Background
Focused on the research of haptics, which includes understanding human sensorimotor ability, mechanics and electronics principles required to build haptic interfaces, and computational algorithms for modeling and rendering haptic environments. Also interested in augmented/virtual reality applications, tangible user interface design, and their combination with haptics.
