Published multiple papers including one accepted at NeurIPS 2025 titled 'MS-GS: Multi-Appearance Sparse-View 3D Gaussian Splatting in the Wild'. Two more papers were accepted at IJCB 2025. Additionally, Prof. Rama Chellappa received the Azriel Rosenfeld Lifetime Achievement Award at ICCV 2025.
Research Experience
Extensive experience in computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning, and AI. Developed registration methods aiding electrophysiologists in performing efficient ablation procedures. Currently working on geolocation of images, media forensics, and medical image reconstruction.
Background
Research interests span computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Specifically focused on 3D structure recovery from a single image, long sequence analysis, hyperspectral and radar image analysis. Also interested in applying computer vision to medicine, such as markerless motion capture and gait analysis for diagnosing movement-related disorders.
