Academic Achievements
  • Associate editor of the International Journal of Biostatistics since 2018; member of the scientific organization of the Missing Data and Survival Analysis workshop in Angers, May 30-June 1, 2022.
Research Experience
  • Principal investigator for the grant project 'New Gene-Environment Interaction Detection Method for Cancer Diseases' from Jan. 2020 to Dec. 2022, funded by LNCC (140k euros). Two Postdocs, Marie Chion and Modibo Diabaté, were financed by LNCC to work on this project. Other members include Grégory Nuel and Vivian Viallon. Since September 2024, Head of the Master 2 MIASHS and Responsable Formation Continue et Alternance at the Mathematics Department, Université de Lille.

Background
  • Currently a professor in statistics at the Paul Painlevé laboratory, Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science, Université de Lille. Member of the Probability and Statistics team. Research interests include survival analysis with an emphasis on interval censored data, recurrent events data, competing events/multi-state models, cure models, pseudo-regression, regularization methods (Lasso, fused-Lasso, adaptive-ridge), and machine learning (super learner, computational optimal transport, sum product networks).
