Research Experience
Worked as an applied scientist at Amazon in Madrid, developing computer vision and machine learning techniques to solve Amazon's catalog image-based issues.
Education
PhD from Universidad de Zaragoza, advised by Diego Gutierrez and Belen Masia. PhD thesis: 'Learning Visual Appearance: Perception, Modeling and Editing', defended with Cum Laude (highest grade awarded by the institution).
Background
Interested in topics at the interface between computer vision and computer graphics, including but not limited to how we can inversely model the world i.e., acquire material properties, light, or geometry from simple input sources (images); or how we can develop faster/more intuitive methods to manipulate digital assets or foster artistic processes.
