Research interests: foundations and algorithms for trustworthy AI, developing reliable machine learning in the open-world. Specific areas include: out-of-distribution (OOD) learning, quantifying distribution shifts in the wild, machine learning techniques with provable guarantees, addressing safety issues in foundation models, and data-efficient machine learning.
