Published multiple papers on structure-aware online learning/reinforcement learning, reinforcement learning with large action spaces, combinatorial decision-making, and robust multi-agent online learning. Some papers have received best paper nominations, such as the Best Paper Runner-Up at SIGMETRICS 2025.

Received a Ph.D. degree from the Computer Science and Engineering Department at CUHK in 2022, advised by Prof. John C.S. Lui (IEEE/ACM Fellow). Earned a bachelor’s degree with an honored rank (top 5%) from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2017.

Currently a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science & Systems at the Tacoma School of Engineering & Technology. Research interests include structure-aware reinforcement learning and online learning algorithms, aiming for data-efficient, scalable, and robust decision-making, particularly in networked AI systems.
