Recipient of numerous awards including ICCM Silver Medal of Mathematics, Distinguished Membership of ACM and CCF, CCF Young Scientist award, Best Paper Awards from ICALP 2007, FAW 2010, ISAAC 2010, etc. Published 29 papers in top theoretical computer science conferences such as STOC, FOCS, and SODA. Served as PC chair for several international conferences and is an editorial board member of 'Information and Computation' and 'Theoretical Computer Science'.
Research Experience
Spent seven years as a researcher at Microsoft Research before joining SUFE. Founded and leads the ITCS at SUFE since December 2015.

Received a BS (2005) and PhD (2009) in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
Background
Professor and founding director of the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (ITCS@SUFE). Research interests include algorithmic mechanism design, complexity and approximability of counting problems, and practical efficient algorithm design for constraint solving and optimization.
