  • Research interests include probabilistic modeling and machine learning, particularly in speech synthesis, motion, and gesture. Particular interests include deep generative modeling, the perceptual effects of modeling assumptions and design decisions, statistical robustness, and how to perform and analyze subjective evaluations.
