Academic Achievements
Published multiple papers including 'Transport meets Variational Inference: Controlled Monte Carlo Diffusions' (ICLR 2024), 'Stochastic Gradient Descent for Gaussian Processes Done Right' (ICLR 2024), 'Sampling from Gaussian Process Posteriors using Stochastic Gradient Descent' (NeurIPS 2023). Also gave talks at various international conferences such as SIAM UQ Conference, Atinary Technologies, etc.
Research Experience
Was an AI Resident in the Google Brain team at Cambridge, MA, working with Jasper Snoek and Balaji Lakshminarayanan on probabilistic machine learning methods; will be a Research Scientist intern in Meta Reality Labs in Burlingame starting June 2024.
Education
PhD student at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Dr. José Miguel Hernández-Lobato; Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, supervised by Dr. Michael I. Miller; Bachelors in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi, supervised by Dr. Uday Khankhoje.
Background
Research interests lie in massively scalable Bayesian inference and probabilistic machine learning, uncertainty estimation and out-of-distribution detection, and diffusion models and sampling.
