  • Currently an Assistant Professor in the Learning and Reasoning group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; was a postdoctoral researcher at Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT, based at RWTH Aachen University (Germany); also a part-time postdoc at the University of Jyväskylä and a scientific advisor for WE-OPT-IT Oy (former MyOpt Oy).

  • Obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Antwerp, completed Master's studies at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, and continued as a doctoral student there. Guided by Professors Vagan Terziyan (Distributed Systems) and Ferrante Neri (Computational Intelligence Optimization).
