Background
Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi and NYU Tandon School of Engineering, as a Global Ph.D. Fellow with the Clinical AI Lab.
Research focuses on developing foundation models for structured electronic health record (EHR) data, particularly advancing retrieval-augmented techniques for clinical prediction tasks by retrieving patients’ historical events.
Aims to create value-aware and context-sensitive encodings that better capture patient trajectory complexity, enabling more accurate prediction, retrieval, and decision-support systems.
Seeks to design machine learning methods that are both clinically meaningful and computationally robust, advancing safer, reliable, and patient-centered AI in healthcare.
Passionate about data science and believes in the transformative power of data-driven decision-making, with a focus on machine learning applications in healthcare.
