Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, Iran
Head of the Social and Cognitive Robotics Lab
Research focuses on Social and Cognitive Robotics, Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Virtual Reality Systems, and their applications in education and rehabilitation for children with special needs (e.g., autism, hearing impairments, cerebral palsy)
Also conducts Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) research using EEG or electrophysiological signals from humans or non-human primates to control robotic platforms such as robotic arms and prostheses
Aims to extract intention-related features from brain signals for real-time mechatronic control, enhance understanding of brain mechanisms, and restore functionality for individuals with disabilities
Collaborates closely with the Brain Engineering Research Center at IPM, Iran
