Academic Achievements
- He has won two second prizes for National Technological Invention Awards and five first prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels. The Qin Shield cloud encryption database system he developed won the gold medal (16/1800+) and the Best Commercial Investment Value Award (2/1800+) at the China Association for Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and was named one of the top ten entrepreneurial role models by CCTV in 2018 (the only one from a university at that time). He has published over 100 SCI/EI papers, cited more than 2000 times on Google Scholar, authored 7 books, obtained over 70 invention patents, 5 PCT patents, transferred 13 patents, registered over 40 software copyrights, and formulated 5 Chinese communication/electronic industry standards.
Research Experience
- He has led and participated in over 20 major national research projects, including key national R&D programs and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. He has served as TPC member for several international conferences, such as TPC Chair for IEEE WiCcm 2016 and Public Chair for ACM SACMAT2016.
