Research Experience
- Leads multiple MRI-related research projects, including MRI imaging and reconstruction, wireless flexible receive arrays, safety of implanted devices in MRI, and reconstruction algorithms for cryo-electron microscope tomography.
- Collaborates with Shreyas Vasanawala (Stanford Radiology), Miki Lustig and Ana Claudia Arias (UC Berkeley EECS), and GE Medical Systems on flexible wireless MRI receive arrays.
- Works with Wah Chiu and Mike Schmid at SLAC on cryo-electron tomography reconstruction algorithms.
- Collaborates with Stanford’s Center for Cognitive and Neurobiological Imaging (CNI) on neuroscience applications of MRI.
- Partners with the Hyperpolarized MRI Technology Resource Center at UCSF on hyperpolarized 13C MR spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) techniques.
