Leads multiple MRI-related research projects, including MRI imaging and reconstruction, wireless flexible receive arrays, safety of implanted devices in MRI, and reconstruction algorithms for cryo-electron microscope tomography.
Collaborates with Shreyas Vasanawala (Stanford Radiology), Miki Lustig and Ana Claudia Arias (UC Berkeley EECS), and GE Medical Systems on flexible wireless MRI receive arrays.
Works with Wah Chiu and Mike Schmid at SLAC on cryo-electron tomography reconstruction algorithms.
Collaborates with Stanford’s Center for Cognitive and Neurobiological Imaging (CNI) on neuroscience applications of MRI.
Partners with the Hyperpolarized MRI Technology Resource Center at UCSF on hyperpolarized 13C MR spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) techniques.
