Recipient of the NSF CAREER Award in 2023, and the Google Research Scholar Award in 2024. Won Best Paper Awards at PPoPP’23 and ESA’23, Outstanding Paper Awards (and best paper finalist) of SPAA’24 and SPAA’20, and Best Paper Finalist of ICS’25.
Research Experience
Currently an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at the University of California, Riverside (UCR), leading the Parallel Algorithms Lab at UCR (UCRPAL).
Education
Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Professor Guy Blelloch; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
Background
Research interests include broad topics in the theory and practice of parallel computing, including algorithms, data structures, frameworks, implementations, programming tools and their applications. The work involves both designing algorithms with improved asymptotic bounds and developing efficient solutions to large-scale real-world problems.
