Research Experience
  • Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the University of Innsbruck’s Quantum Information and Computation group.
  • During PhD, collaborated with Prof. Maria García-Parajo (ICFO) and Prof. Carlo Manzo (UVic) to develop theoretical models for micro- and nano-particle motion in cells.
  • Proposed the STEP method for characterizing anomalous diffusion at the single-step level.
  • Applied unsupervised learning to rediscover fundamental components of diffusion theories and validated these approaches experimentally.
  • Explored how artificial learning agents can discover diffusion-based optimal foraging strategies.
  • Applied ML to quantum physics, including connections between Boltzmann machines and spin models, reinforcement learning for quantum certification, and denoising diffusion models for quantum circuit synthesis.
