Academic Achievements
His team has published multiple papers in top conferences such as TPAMI'24, CVPR/ICCV/OLEN/AAAI 2023, CVPR/NeurIPS 2022, and NeurIPS'21. In 2025, his team received the SenseTime Team Award (Highest Group Honor), and in 2019, he received the SenseTime Outstanding Award. In 2017, he was awarded the NCTU Academic Excellence Award.
Research Experience
Since August 2019, he has been working at SenseTime, leading a team in the research of UME. Previously, he developed a lightweight, scalable AlphaGo Zero/AlphaZero framework and proposed the MPV-MCTS training algorithm at the CGI Lab. He also worked on projects like Smart City Multimodal Early Warning, Intelligent Mine AI Perception System, and more.
Education
Earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Computer Games and Intelligence (CGI) Lab at National Chiao Tung University in June 2019, under the supervision of Professor I-Chen Wu. His research focused on combining deep reinforcement learning with computer game AI, such as 2048 Game AI, Chinese Chess AI, and AlphaGo/AlphaZero.
