ERSAL researchers have published two articles resulting from their recent massive open online course (MOOC) on life cycle assessment. One was published in the Journal of Industrial Ecology, shedding light on changing characteristics of LCA students. The other appeared in the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment, discussing pedagogical opportunities and challenges associated with online LCA courses.
Research Experience
The research scope includes manufacturing policy analysis to help achieve these goals; team members have also been involved in the design and implementation of online courses (such as MOOCs).
Background
Research interests include improving the energy, resource, and economic efficiencies of manufacturing processes and supply chains, product and material life-cycle systems, as well as information technology (IT) systems.
