- Authored or co-authored over 150 refereed publications (mostly from the DMTCP project, including work by other teams using DMTCP)
- Developed multiple open-source tools: DMTCP, MANA for MPI, McMini (for explicit-state model checking of multithreaded programs), Geant4MT, Roomy, TOP-C, ParGeant4, ParGAP, ParGCL, Marshalgen, etc.

Research Experience
- Led development of multiple software projects, including DMTCP (Distributed Multithreaded Checkpointing)
- Led the MANA for MPI project (checkpointing MPI using the DMTCP platform), in collaboration with NERSC, MemVerge, and the DMTCP team
- Supervised the development of Geant4MT (multi-threaded version of Geant4), now integrated into Geant4 version 10.0
- Supervised the Roomy system for 'Big Data'
- Runs the High Performance Computing Lab (located in WVH 370)
