- Led or contributed to multiple key projects and grants:
- — 'Enhancing Data-Driven Science for Water Treatment Pilot Systems with Semantic Metadata Management', funded by the National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI);
- — Developed BuildingMOTIF, an open-source SDK for building metadata model creation, storage, visualization, and validation;
- — Contributed to the ASHRAE 223P semantic metadata standard for buildings;
- — Core contributor to the Brick Ontology, an open-source ontology for smart building applications;
- — Created Mortar, a platform for self-adapting building analytics enabling 'write once, run anywhere' across buildings;
- — Previously led DOE-funded project 'Skewering the Silos' (DE-EE0008681) to enhance Brick’s interoperability with Haystack, gbXML, Modelica, etc.;
