Undergraduate Research Experience (Sep 2017 – Aug 2019)
Developed FPGA controller, runtime API, and user interface for Michigan's Brain Optical Stimulation Controller; the product is commercially available; collaborators include Dimitri James, Nathan Slager, Kanghwan Kim, Adam Mendrela, John Seymour, and Euisik Yoon
Designed and implemented an out-of-order Alpha64 ISA processor based on R10K architecture with advanced microarchitectural features (e.g., sophisticated predictors and cache policies); collaborators: Yunjin Wang and Yate Ji
Worked on a Murphi-simulated MOESI directory-based multi-core cache protocol
Involved in the 'Eyes Wide Shut' project (under construction)
