Research Experience
- Served as a Research Assistant in Wireless Sensor Network Lab on a collaborative research project between NUST, Pakistan and Ajou University, South Korea from September 2007 to August 2008; Visiting Research Scientist at Qatar Innovations and Mobility Center from October to December 2013; Worked on the US Army Research Lab (ARL) funded project: `Cognitive Green Wireless Communication - A Network Science Perspective'.
Education
- Received B.Eng degree in Information and Communication System Engineering from NUST, Pakistan in 2008, under the supervision of Dr. Syed Ali Khayam for his final year project; pursued PhD at the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, UK, from 2008, awarded ORS, Tetley Lupton, and Excellence Scholarships.
Background
- Research interests include wireless communication networks, robotics and autonomous systems, embedded systems design, complex systems and spatio-temporal models, stochastic geometry, random graph theory, resource allocation. Currently an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds.
