Research Experience
Served as a Research Assistant in Wireless Sensor Network Lab on a collaborative research project between NUST, Pakistan and Ajou University, South Korea from September 2007 to August 2008; Visiting Research Scientist at Qatar Innovations and Mobility Center from October to December 2013; Worked on the US Army Research Lab (ARL) funded project: `Cognitive Green Wireless Communication - A Network Science Perspective'.
Education
Received B.Eng degree in Information and Communication System Engineering from NUST, Pakistan in 2008, under the supervision of Dr. Syed Ali Khayam for his final year project; pursued PhD at the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, UK, from 2008, awarded ORS, Tetley Lupton, and Excellence Scholarships.
Background
Research interests include wireless communication networks, robotics and autonomous systems, embedded systems design, complex systems and spatio-temporal models, stochastic geometry, random graph theory, resource allocation. Currently an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds.
