Currently a Lecturer (~Assistant Professor) in the School of Computing at Macquarie University, Australia
Research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) centers on three themes: Trust and Safety, LLM Alignment, and NLP for Social Good
Core focus: aligning large language models (LLMs) with human preferences, values, cultures, and safety
Developing value-sensitive, safety-aware, pluralistic, and culturally aligned language models
Leads the NLP for Social Good Lab to build safe, aligned, and socially impactful language technologies
