The module leader of INT306 (Computer Auditory Systems) and INT104 (Artificial Intelligence). Led his research team to achieve high ranks in the DCASE (Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events) data challenge.
Education
Graduated from Centre for Digital Music (C4DM), Queen Mary University of London, obtained a Ph.D. degree.
Background
Research interests include computational musicology and acoustic signal processing, with some attempts on hardware implementation of deep learning algorithms. A member of the task force on Speech Dialogue and Auditory Processing, China Computer Federation.
Miscellany
Recruiting new PhD students / RAs who are interested in auditory intelligence research throughout the academic year. From case to case, there might be scholarship available for PhD applicants.
