Research Experience
- Before starting his PhD, worked as a data scientist for two Singapore-based startups: LeadBook, a sales intelligence company, and EVCo, an electric mobility service startup. Interned remotely with the Vis4Sense research group under the guidance of Professor Kai Xu, focusing on Data Science, Visual Analytics, HCI, and NLP.

Background
- Research interests lie at the intersection of healthcare, natural language processing (NLP), and human-computer interaction (HCI). Particularly interested in developing fair and inclusive AI systems to improve health equity and outcomes for underserved communities. Also explores human behavior and wellbeing through social media and online data.
